Off on new adventures

It’s actually always best to see life as one big adventure, created by a chain reaction of many, many mini adventures. I’ve certainly had my share of pretty amazing things happening over the last couple of years.

After 20 years of travelling around the world as an English teacher (here my travels so far), upon arriving in Cyprus, I decided I am tired of travelling. Or so I thought.

That urge to travel

The ‘travel bug’ bit again - thanks to recent opportunities to train English teachers in China and to travel for fun, meet up with old friends in various countries and capture the impressions with my photography.

I had started writing for the Cyprus Weekly in April 2015 - another ‘mini adventure’ and great opportunity I really enjoyed. My last contributions appeared in the issue of December 16th.

I loved getting to meet all those inspiring people I wrote about. I also learned a lot - some fantastic things, some less fantastic, but it was certainly a good experience.

Sharing my travel stories

With the increasing number of trips I get to take, meeting the weekly newspaper deadlines was getting tricky. I have thus decided to focus on my own writing, at my own pace, and share my stories about my travels and those many friends around the globe.

You will be able to read them here, at

I’ve been travelling the world for over 20 years teaching English and am now taking time to follow my passion for photography and writing. I want to share all the things, events and people that have inspired and inspire me and spread those positive vibes all around.
