From September 25-27, Limassol will be hosting its first Made in Cyprus fair, an exhibition promoting and advertising Cypriot products and services and celebrating Cypriot arts, crafts and culture, featuring 40 exhibitors.
After last year’s success in Nicosia, it is now Limassol’s turn to welcome national and international visitors to the event. The fair is organised by the Cyprus World Trade Centre and will continue its presence in a number of forthcoming national and international events.

“It is a fresh and forward-looking event, celebrating all things Cypriot and exploring new business channels,” says Antony Georgakis, Head of Marketing & Business Development, and a venue to suit the occasion was chosen – the Trakasol Cultural Centre at the entrance to Limassol’s Marina.

Made in Cyprus is being held under the auspices of the Cyprus Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism and with the support of the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) and the Municipality of Limassol.

Cypriot products and services
Visitors will be able to meet producers and try and buy wines, beer, distillates, pasta, dairy products, olive oil products, honey, sweets and various unique traditional products not sold commercially. Service providers will among others include educational institutes, property developers, lawyers, insurance agencies, tourist and health services.
Networking opportunities through Business-to-Business meetings will be arranged for potential international trade missions, whose delegates will be introduced to the Cyprus market for an opportunity to identify potential cooperation with local businesses.

Special activities

The fair will feature various activities for children including a Cyprus-shaped mosaic to be created by them. The charities Dancing Queen Foundation and the WTC Cyprus Leap Day Foundation will be present.
